Is it true that Airbnb gets majority of their new grads from interns? Around how many new grads do they typically hire who have never intended there before?
How many new grads do they hire each year?
Although the intern conversion is the majority, the amount of non-interned new grads is actually pretty high. Apply.
Thanks! But I don't see any new grad positions on the careers site. Is there anywhere else we need to look? If not then is there any chance at all that you would be able to refer us to this position?
Do you know how many new grads they hire each year that aren't converted interns?
I think you have to go through your university career center or talk to an on campus recruiter. Unfortunately, the campus recruitment that Airbnb does is limited to select schools.
You don’t need to go through career fair at school. That’s just one option. New grad positions are usually posted around September or October. You will be able to apply through the website, referrals or career fair events.
Thanks for the info! So I'm actively interviewing right now and would love to interview with Airbnb too. Does that mean that I have to wait until October or would maybe getting a referral or getting in touch with a university recruiter work for starting the interviewing process now?
I think the new grad positions are filled at this moment. Like other companies, there is a hiring season for new grads. The time window is similar to FB’s new grad hiring season, which usually starts around September to October.
