How’s the work at Airbnb payments team? Just got offered a L4 position and considering Payments team. How are the engineering challenges? Culture and WLB seems pretty good from what I’ve read. Also, is it a good time to join Airbnb given the recent exodus of employees and the controversy around CFO? TC: 300k YOE: 2yrs Offer: Base : 175k RSU: 400k Bonus: 26k
Also going back is always an option if you leave on good terms

I would consider it. If nothing else you have diversified your stock holdings in two of the biggest pre ipo companies
But I’ve heard that Airbnb is not heavy on the engineering side. That’s my main concern. In the long term, how important would this be?
What have you heard about it not being “heavy” on the engineering side? The exodus is on par with industry standards, just seems like a lot because it comes in waves after bonuses or vesting days. I say go for it. Payments team is a hot one!
