Hi- I am considering a move from amazon to try a different company culture and leadership. I’ve been at amazon for 5 years, am still learn new things everyday, but feel a change will be good. Do any of you have insights into working at Airbnb? Company culture? Challenging work? Compensation? Seattle office openings? Thanks
I heard there is an upcoming reorganization. I would recommend waiting out until dust settles.
Thanks for sharing inputs about the internal reorganization. Any sense of comp?
Generally higher than amazon if you trust the equity/valuation
Pretty happy here overall. I think the comp can beat Amazon generally, esp with refreshers and the recent bonus addition
Culture is excellent. Work is challenging. My comp is great, I don’t know about others. Seattle has 100 employees with plans to scale up to 400+. Reorg wasn’t that big of a change, as many existing teams shuffled around into different orgs and remained intact.
I’m not sure how that survey can be reliable. During a QA Beth said we had like 8 reported incidents in the past year. The survey says it required 50 responses?
Interesting. I’ve never even remotely experienced anything like harassment and have never witnessed it. i guess I’m not attractive enough lol

How can I find success dating in NYC
Honestly, I’d wait or look elsewhere. Big internal challenges at the moment. A lot of recent transfers regret the move. But depending on role and team, your experience could be different.
Can you go into more detail?
Yes curious why recent transfers are regretting their moves?
