Airbnb should ditch its fancy HQ to save jobs
Firing the CEO is not an option. IPO is not an option. Billions of losses this year. Why isnt Airbnb using its own platform to sublet its beautiful Soma office and others?
Moving costs money and unless that office is so big that it can bring in $ billions, then it’s not very useful to do that.
No you rent it out. Like on some kind of room share platform.
Note I used to work at zynga and we tried renting out the same office space where Airbnb now resides and was only able to get it like half rented
