Airbnb vs LinkedIn
I have offers from Airbnb and LinkedIn. From a culture and growth standpoint, which of these two companies would be a better place to join? L4 at Airbnb and Senior at LinkedIn. I am still negotiating comp. YOE: 2.5 years Current TC: 220K
LinkedIn > Airbnb

How was Airbnb onsite? I have one coming up in 2 weeks!
It was like any other onsite with a lot of emphasis on the culture rounds. They do require you to write compiling code and run against their test cases, but the questions asked are very doable in 45 minutes.

Airbnb is better for younger people. LinkedIn is better for more experienced people.

Lol. Are you serious ? At LinkedIn , as an L5 I was interviewed by L3 and L4. There are plenty of experienced people in all companies .
Depends on your interests.. if Infra, winner is LinkedIn. If product, front end then BnB
My general impression: AirBnB for good engineering, LinkedIn for good work life balance.
Airbnb has more startup spirit, while LinkedIn has enterprise vibes. Depends on what type of person you are. I would join Airbnb.
Honestly, I think AirBnb is far and away the better choice. Better engineering, better culture, more prestigious. It will look much better on your resume and you'll enjoy working on a better tech stack. Also one of the best cultures in the bay.

Grats on your offers OP. I hope you join us. The culture here is great and if you can get onto a good team there is lots of interesting work. The growth and the general vibe is very exciting. Linkedin will likely offer you more cash because the stock is liquid. But tc should be higher with Airbnb and refreshers here will crush linkedin. You are young, take a risk. There are not many companies at this stage with this kind of upside. There is no better time to join than right now
