Which airlines company has the best company culture? Curious to know
Delta and SW for the win
I did quite enjoy flying back from Europe on Delta. After I gave the flight attendants chocolates, I got free alcohol the rest of the flight.
Like premium alcohol? Normal stuff is free on international flights on most airlines lol
United Airport employees take care of each other. Corporate ranges from drunk off the kool aid to cut throat.
Yea, who cares about the customers
You mean obstructions to non-revving?
Culture at AA is just stupid. I've heard good things about UA and WN tho. I'd be curious to hear from folks at Alaska.
I have friends who came to SWA after UA. Not even close, sorry.
AA sucks
I've worked for Delta Air Lines for years and always thought the culture was good. I feel needed, I'm compensated well, I have a decent schedule with alright time off. For standby travel we can book the highest class available which is nice. It doesn't help a lot domestically but internationally it does.
Ah, getting a job at delta is so hard though. Especially in LA
If you are looking for corporate jobs ATL is your best bet. If you are fine doing like ticketing/gate agent stuff then look into Season Ready Reserve. They hire in April. Study STAR format interviews. It's all they use.
Southwest hands down. Every other airline tries to copy us about this and they know it, not even trying to be cocky here lol there's a reason there are case studies about our culture and operations. Delta might be close but they also went through a bankruptcy with the rest of the legacies. We're an industry unicorn and proud of it 🙂
Honest question. I have the upmost respect for Southwest but how are your flight benefits? I couldn't imagine they could match Delta in scope and availability.
Domestically, I know from my Delta/AA friends experience that, we have better availability due to only 737s as well as the point to point giving us more flights per day(highest in the US). Internationally, we're limited to our vacation destination network which is lame. BUT we also have the most ZED agreements of any airline according to our travel folks to make up for this. As a result, I've been able to travel the whole world extensively! Also no hate against Delta, your crew and employees treat us SWA folk awesome and I always try to extend the same friendliness too. In fact, if I recommend Delta to my network for international travel!
Also interested in how Alaska is.
Alaska is amazing. Highly recommend.
Alaska is the best
None !
Qatar is also good
LOL. Yes, Qatar is known for their welcoming and loyal employee culture. “Pregnant? You’re fired.” “Gained 5lbs? You’re fired.”

Is raising two kids more stressful than raising one?
I always had bad experience with United. The staff are always cranky and the planes are dirty. But they have a monopoly on certain flight and have to fly with them Always happy to fly with Southwest or non US airlines. Maybe SW has a better culture based on my experience
SWA all the way, tooting my own horn here but there's a reason for our success: our culture and our operations. Only airline to not go bankrupt in 08, only airline to be profitable since inception. And no layoffs or furloughs ever.
@klnxxs Alaska has never gone into bankruptcy FYI.
