Got offered a place on both teams. I'm relatively young and wanted to know your thoughts on the teams and how it's like living in Seattle vs the Bay Area
Main site if you are still getting your footing, most likely you won’t be able to break anything. The no income tax thing seems like it would be a plus for Seattle but can you deal with lack of sun?
Did you interview with two teams at the same time? or you have multiple teams interested in you.
Go to retail. It's a more mature org and you'll get to learn a lot. Alexa is new and the processes are not setup properly for someone new to be very effective. I prefer Seattle as it isn't as expensive as the bay area. It being the hq also means you can interact with more people and can possibly find other teams to transition to more easily if need be.
