I have been looking for an analyst job (sql, python, data visualization) for few months. 7+ years of experience and MBA in management. No CS degree, self taught in mid thirties. I was getting interviews when resume said I am still working but after I updated resume and linkedin profile I am no longer getting any calls and rejection emails from many jobs. Life is going in downward spiral. I am thinking about doing following, please give your vote and any other suggestions to get my life back on track. #referral

What do you put on a resume and linkedin. There isn’t a freelance work for analyst from what I know.
There should be some contingent positions that you can qualify for. I’d do that and then keep looking for fte roles.

Seriously!! That adds even more unemployed period.
Are you looking in a specific city ?
Ideally in tri-state but willing to go anywhere on east coast instead of just waiting.
There are a lot of tri states
Hey op, sorry to hear that! Keep your head up! Dm me for referrals at rally health. Let me know if any roles interest you.
Thank you 😊
You can signup at a consulting agency for hourly work to show that you are trying to keep your skills relevant. Doesn’t matter whether you get gigs but you can call yourself an independent contractor at agency x. You should get more calls based on that. Using LinkedIn and lie about your employment status is a red flag. Recruiters will always ask if you are still at company x, and if not they may outright reject you right there.
If you are a US national, there are tons of consulting agencies that can help you get contract jobs
