Am I the only one who cares about perks more than TC?
I don't get the obsession with TC. For me, give me catered lunches, happy hours, ping pong tables, foosball parties, free snacks, cool company swag, gym membership, etc. and I'm happy. I'd gladly work for 50% TC or less to afford these amazing benefits.

You can buy most of those benefits yourself for way less than half of your TC...
You know it's also about experience! Drinking at your employer is fun than buying a beer yourself and drinking it at home. But definitely not 50% less TC for that. I would go as low as 95%
Option 3: alone in bar, option 4: friends house
You can buy perks with better TC.

With enough TC it shouldn't matter.

Depends. Would choose 250k and no perks over 150k with perks. But would choose 700k and being pampered over 800k and not getting anything else
I will take unlimited Work From home and unlimited paid time off over salary literally any day of the week. Obviously there are limits. I wouldn't take a 50% pay cut. But you get the idea.
So why do you work at Amazon???
