*** I am using my friends account to post, I don’t work at DBS ***
I am a senior and I’ve just started to practice DSA and to leetcode. Yesterday I was watching Abdul Baris YouTube videos on Time complexity and I didn’t understand a single thing. Every video I had to pause and spend around 20 mins to truly understand what’s going on. I feel extremely demotivated and I think I’m too dumb to leetcode and get a FAANG offer. Is this common or am I truly dumb af?

The ONLY YouTubers I would recommend are Back to Back SWE for coding, and System Design Interview (Mikhail S) for system design.
Having to put in hard work doesn’t make anyone stupid.
Maybe pick up a book and go thru fundamentals of big O. It’s generally in the first few chapters.
Once u grasp the fundamentals it might be easier to build on that.
It could be a bit more mathematical than algo, but it’s def very useful to grasp the basic building blocks.
