How to get a job at Google/Facebook?

Any smart preparation strategies?
PS: don't just say do leetcode! There are almost 100000000s of questions in leetcode. I need a way to do selective study.
Also, do I need to prepare for design interviews as well? If yes, please suggest some smart selective prep strategies.
Background : I have prepared DS/algo and design before as you can see I am working for Microsoft right now. Also, had multiple offers before joining MS. But I feel this is not enough to crack Google/Facebook. suggestions?

  • Since you’re in India one of the best strategies for G is to schedule your interviews in the night. US interviewers don’t ask LC Hards and instead focus on the fundamentals. Bonus points if you have good communication skills.

  • There is no shortcut or magic that can prepare you for FAANG in a short time. You have to invest time solving as many problems as possible. Leetcode is one such platform. You can also explore algoexpert.io for selective questions. They cover all types. For system design you can explore lot of YouTube channels.

P.S. Google is not only about solving problems and system design. They give lot of importance to attitude, approach, humility....etc... So even if you are flawless in technical rounds and cleared all of them, there is still high chance that they reject you.

So prepare well and all the best
