I’d like to hear from those that have made this move. How’s the work/life balance? How’s the culture? Do you regret making the jump? Any gotchas? For context I’m a L6 with TC of 300. Maybe close to burning out. Worth it?
+1. What's Microsoft like these days? (OP, you may want to post this on the main Blind forum everyone can see)
Great work life balance. You can focus on your personal life or spend 12 hours a day at work if you want but, from my experience, your team and manager will care about you. Great campus, very green, some buildings would benefit from a refresh. From my experience, the strategy is clear, you can agree or disagree but it's all explained, and you are in charge of your career. It's for you to make sure you're aligned with the big picture. Regarding burns out, it happens, mostly in sub and field teams. AFAIK, this risk is much less than in Amazon.

Money wise, may be not a wise move as mostly there is going to be bit of drop or laterlal. Mostly up in WLb unless you get in crappy team.
What are not crappy teams?
