Amazon - why bananas?

Why not pears or apples for example? Easier to eat? Gives you an instant boost of energy? Cheaper? Or because bananas grow in the Amazon? I tried asking jeff@amazon.com, but his automatic reply told me to buy an Echo Plus and ask Alexa

Probably because they produce antimatter. They must have found a way to capture it and send it to Blue Origin.

Hold on a second, Blue Origin is our planet Earth. Send to Blue Origin... Wait, bananas grow on other planets?

We get Mercedeses. But I'd rather eat bananas all day and $AMZN RSUs

Water bill would go up from having to wash apples, pears, or hands when eating citrus. Bananas come with a built in napkin.

Bananas are cheap. Main reason. Good publicity to hide brutal culture

Oh hey Apple. Is Caffee Macs any good btw?

Cheap, pretty durable and doesn’t require processing. There’s a whole wiki page about why bananas (vs other fruits)

I know the actual reason for this. They originally were going to give out apples but since you eat the outside of it you require food handling License. With bananas you don’t eat the peel.
