Hi, I received an L4 AS offer from amazon. The position is in seattle. The breakdown is as follows:- Base - 150K Bonus - 58K(year-1)/42K(year-2) RSU- 125K. I have a masters in ML from a decent school and 2 yoe in India before masters. Is this a good offer? //reposting since didn't get a lot of replies last time.
Most companies do not consider experience from India so this is basically a new grad offer and as such is an extremely good offer for Seattle or Amazon.
Seems like an excellent offer. May I ask where you got your masters from?

Seems quite good.
Is it possible to negotiate and if yes which components and by how much? I have an offer from a startup with higher base but it is based in the bay.
Can negotiate on all fronts but unlikely they will be change your base much because base is capped at 160k in Seattle. RSU and Y1/Y2 bonus could change maybe. How much is startup offering you? Considering you don't have PhD and got AS offer, I would take it. PS: I am AS L5.
What school ?
Please dm me if you want to know more. Can't share here because of privacy concerns.
Thanks for sharing the website. I did check it out. However, most of the data here is for SDE positions and almost nothing for AS(Applied scientist). Hence my question here.
Course projects. A couple of publications. LCs about a 100. That's all I guess
Really good offer, max for base is $160k so you are really close to max base
Thanks for your reply. How about the RSUs and bonus?

This is a decent offer.

You can negotiate on all fronts (base, signon and RSUs...in your case, I think they will just give more bonus to match the other offers TC)
