Hi everyone, I'm interviewing with Amazon for a Sr. Engagement Manager position. Location is NYC. I have 15 yrs. of experience. What can I expect from the 1st interview? I already talked to the recruiter so this is my 1st interview with anyone else besides the recruiter. Also, what kind of TC is reasonable? Not sure if this is an L5 or L6 position. Anyone know? Thank you. #amazonaws

I could be wrong here but I was under the impression that having Amazon on your resume is good and can open certain doors.
Yea certainly.. doors to hell
I get it. People don't like working for Amazon. Can anyone answer my question as to what I should expect for my interview and TC for the role? Thank you.
👊
Interested in this info myself! For Minneapolis area. Would love to here from someone that has recently gone through the process for AWS Prof Services SEM role.
Looking at other posts this seems to be an L6 position and TC is between $250k - $350k.
How did it go OP?

Why would anyone with 15years of experience work here….this place should only be for new college grads trying to boost resume
I've worked for a number of companies in the past 15 years and all have their issues. Some are the same, some are different. But having exposure to Amazon's clients, being able to own customer engagements, and having the opportunity to work with smart people ars the reasons why I would like to work for Amazon. I would think that TC is likely better than my current ~200k.
Jesus man! Amazon must be putting something in the water in certain cities. It’s literally a sweatshop where 10% get fired yearly. It’s not good, but obviously externals can’t seem to wrap their heads around this. Search for polls from internals, 70% are looking for another job.
