I need to choose between these two teams. I’ve genrally gotten a much clearer picture of the role from the global logistics manager and team members, they seem experienced and great at communicating. The Alexa team however is doing brand new development and it seems as though there might be more diverse opportunities there. I’m moving into tech from a completey different industry, so my primary concern is getting experience in web development and growing my industry knowledge quickly. Is it reasonable to think that global logistics might provide a better platform for doing this? If you were me would you choose the possibly more exciting work with Alexa for Business, or the solid team members and experienced manager in global logistics? I acknowlege that I may be mislabeling the realities of both teams, but this is the gut instinct I have to go with for now.
Don't go to AGL. It is incessant churn and frustration. Plus a lot of people with experience in the industry have left.

Logistics at Amazon is about as sharp as an org gets; lots of former US Army people there, because that’s kind of the apex of complex logistics management. Lots of room for innovation there.
