Got an offer from amazon for sr. Supply chain manager role. 135 base + 139 sign on bonus paid in 2 years + 80 stocks. Wanted to know if this is competitive? I am seeing my salary go down after year 2 once signon bonus disappears. Do you generally see that happen or will Amazon increase my salary?

The vesting schedule of the stocks should off set the loss of the sign on

My sign on bonus is so heavy that vesting of stocks is not able to compensate the loss of the sign on bonus.

Probably dont want to ask them to lower the bonus to fix that "problem" :)

That’s due to the RSUs vesting more, stock price goes up/equity increases, then so does the value of your package. Also, there will likely be some salary increases over that time.

You will generally not see refreshers applied for years 1-4 in normal market conditions so what you see is what you get and no more. Year 5+ you can expect to get refilled.

So TC stays the same for 4 years?

It will likely go up due to stock growth but there’s basically gonna be slightly less than inflation base salary raises and no or very few new shares depending on market conditions. Of course getting promoted and then being rated top tier would be an exceptional case where your pay might go up but it’s an exceptional case.
