HR will let you know and you can ask for the results. There are no more steps
How long did it take to complete background check after you submit? Do they contact current employer?
2 to 4 business days it says. Took me like 3 or 4. Not sure but dont think so.

It depends on whether or not they felt the need to contact the FBI...
