After being here for a few months , bias for action is a LP constantly used when they want to imply you need to work overtime to get shit done fast ๐Ÿ™ƒ

    My team partners with teams in both EU and India. We have meetings with India at night and EU in the morning. Nothing makes me happier than writing a document, reviewing it with the India teams at like 8pm, then having my skip ask me to show bias for action by addressing all feedback and having a new revision of the document ready to review with EU at 7am. I truly hate this place.

      Reminds me of a peer who liked to have daily THIRTY minute scrums with his team at the beginning of the day and another one at 6pm--with the obvious implication that things would be "different" during the scrum the following AM.

    Damn. I spent 6 years at Amazon and generally had a positive experience but reading all these blind stories is even making me question if I ever want to boomerang. Canโ€™t imagine how many non-alum Blind has managed to scare off from ever considering Amazon.
