A recruiter reached out for a Design Technologist role and was wondering how to best prepare for the technical assessments (phone and on-site) and what the role is like at Amazon. It seems like every tech company has their own nuanced definition of a DT. Should I be preparing more for ds/algo questions (leetcode/hackerrank), practice coding up an interface with design requirements (codepen), or prepare more for a portfolio review and process discussion?
I never got that far: the position was filled before my final loop. The first phone screen didn’t involve any coding or in depth code questions. Just about different frameworks and approaches for prototyping.
Any updates?????
About to have one of these myself. What did you get asked?
Do you mind sharing what was asked for this?
