I am an executive recruiter potentially interviewing with Amazon. I've been hearing some discouraging things about Amazon culture overall. Can anyone comment on the executive recruiting organization? Any thoughts on that org's culture, WLB, etc.? #amazon #executiverecruiting
Can you tell me a bit about executive recruiting? Main difference from more general recruiting?
Probably just more capable, flexible, organized. Executive recruiting is way less straightforward, I've noticed the recruiters, as I've leveled up in my career, get much better at what they do.
Disney is better. Come here.
I want to be an executive, recruit me!!
Do not go here. I’m miserable and leaving ASAP
Why though??? Wtf happens daily
Amazon, are you in the recruiting org? Can you share some detail as to why you dislike Amazon? Thank you.
TC??
you hearing bad stories on Amazon? where you hearing those? on blind everyone always saying amazing amazon. Right hand man Pip giving bananas for free
I’m in recruiting (not exec) but I know our exec recruiters are treated like gold (and comped well) lol it’s a hard team to get into. I would go for it. (I also love my team FWIW - feel free to DM me)
7 years in at Amazon and no complaints. If you're good at your job it's a great place, but the people who are just hanging on have a really tough time and constantly worry about PIP. I recommend Amazon if you know you're really good at what you do, but if in your heart you know you are just going to survive there are much less stressful places than Amazon to do that.
If culture is important to you I think we have a lot to offer here, and our Executive Recruiting team is hiring.
Thank you for responding. I'd like to learn more about LinkedIn's executive search team and culture. I did connect with a LI recruiter last spring, but I wasn't ready to make a move then. What would you recommend in terms of reconnecting?
How do I explore potential opportunities at LinkedIn?
