Hi. Received an offer from Amazon for Finance Manager L6 in Seattle and looking to understand if it is reasonable ? $150K base, $55 1st year bonus, $45K 2nd year bonus , 60 RSUs.
That’s reasonable and actually slightly higher than similar L6 roles that came into the company a few years ago.
L6 level is not low. Why finance is much lower than programmers?
Almost every non technical role, manager or not, will be lower than an SD job.
Because non-technical roles are just G&A on the income statement. Basically supporting functions to the main operation.
How many YOE? Likely a few more RSUs. I doubt if they will budge on base and bonus.
10 YOE if Finance, + 4 years in Comp Sc
Also, what is the % range of the performance based RSUs like ? Is it 10 to 20 % or 20-30% or something else?
Seems reasonable for a finance role. Maybe ask a bit more on the RSUs.
