I have signed the offer and already started the background verification and immigration process. My recruiter hasn't responded to a couple of emails I have sent in the past week and no acknowledgement from the immigration team as well after I sent them all the documents and an email to let me know if they need any additional docs. Can recruiters ghost you at this stage of hiring process? Current TC: 170k
What do you need your recruiter to do? You already signed the offer. The recruiter's job is done. The only thing for you to do now is wait for immigration and background check to clear.
You're not going to get some kind of white glove treatment. You got them their bonus, they're done with you now. Wait until you get assigned an on boarding team member.
Amazon recruiters don’t get a bonus for every hire.
You signed the offer, you have the job. Are you asking questions about immigration or something similar that they can’t answer? They should be responding to you to tell you they can’t answer and who to reach out to, but there could be multiple different reasons they arent. You want to get their attention, do what someone else said and contact your Hm and say hey I’ve reached out to my recruiter no response, can you help. The HM will at least make sure you get a response on what to do or who to call next. But once you sign your offer letter there isn’t much a recruiter has access to or can do for you from there
Get in touch with the HM, or call the recruiter and ask to be connected with the HM. A friend of mine was in a similar boat, in his case, the HM and the entire team went through multiple re-orgs while he was waiting on background check and visa transfer, so his position was lost and got untracked in the system. He then retraced the people he interviewed with and finally got in touch with the manager who he would be currently reporting to.
This is normal , after offer sign , recruiters don’t care
Same thing had happened to me. My friend who worked there asked the recruiter to respond for me, she replied that my emails went to a low priority folder since I was already in the Offer Accepted stage.
the dude is probably just busy... chill out
🤔
Offer letter is a contract. Unless you've violated the terms you're going to have some leverage if they back out now.
but worst case situation, you could never go up against the lawyers that amazons money has
But what would he get out of it? I guess he could try to argue for the signing bonus?
