Hi,
I recently got an offer from Amazon. H1B transfer petition is filed in normal processing since premium processing is not yet resumed. I was told the petition will be updated to premium once USCIS issues the receipt notice (timeline 4 weeks).
Joining date on offer letter is July 20, 2020. Looks like this date is very ambitious at the moment.
1. Anyone knew if Amazon will be okay to push back the joining date to one month later?
2. In case the transfer petition is denied for some reason (heard few), will they refile the petition or revoke the offer? Anyone experienced this?
Attorneys are recommending to join on receipt notice. I am not willing to jeopardize my immigration status by rushing and join before approval.

But communication with recruiter is important because they need to inform the immigration team about that.
