is it better to join amazon over startups like flipkart, swiggy, tekion?
Have offers from all of them
I am planning to move abroad in 2-3 yrs most probably canada by doing masters or directly getting a job or through PR express entry.
Will Amazon's Brand name help me getting a job abroad?
Should i risk my mental health and well being for the brand name?
Please don't troll and give serious advice, if possible

Good things about Amazon:
1. BRAND VALUE
2. PAY ( depending on whether that is important )
3. Ease to switch teams
Cons:
1. WLB ( you have to get lucky to get a team that respects wlb. You will likely see yourselves struggle during the initial months. There is too much to do and Amazon is always understaffed). Not to forget oncall responsibilities
2. Pressure to deliver
3. You might be stagnant in terms of tech growth if sde1. With any big companies, there are processes and they take up most of your time, it's very likely that you will be busy managing stakeholders and timelines than actually spending time coding. Especially if you are in a tier1 team aws, checkout etc. But this is very team specific. If it is a team that is building things from scratch then you might be better of.
Also consider the fact that if you join as sde1 , you will need to start working towards sde2 such that by end of 2 years you become sde2. Promo is tough at Amazon, you need to have relevant data , feedback providers and work summaries. You need to choose work that provided the maximum visibility and start working as an sde2 even before you are considered to be promoted. Leaving halfway or switching teams while you are in the above might be unfavorable. So you have to stay with Amazon for atleast 2 years to reap good benefits.
