Amazon International transfer and RSU
If I am working for Amazon US and I take a transfer to Amazon India. Will I lose my RSU?
RSU's once granted won't be taken back. They would just allocate less RSU's in future.
A fun thing to do is get your four year grant offer, transfer to a low cost area after your first year, and live well for the next three. However your base will be hit in the meantime, but still comparable to the cost of living in the area.
Don't forget double taxation
Double taxation? Do they have to worry about that if they aren't a US citizen though? I only say that because I'm assuming no US National would want to move to India.
You'll have to pay taxes on RSUs both in the US and in your location. 100k can easily become 20k that way.
Only if it’s above around 100K or so. You can do foreign income exclusion.

Not your granted ones but they’ll issue less on your refresh to match market rates for India.
