In March I turned down a remote offer for Amazon L6 PM-T (non-aws technical product manager) with a total comp of 387k. They reached back out and said it was still available if I wanted it.

This looks like a good offer for L6 PM-T at Amazon? What's the catch? Would I ever get a raise?

Find out about the team.. why is role open so long and why no one internally accepted. The culture there varies by team so don’t jump in without trying to find out about team/mgr. what has their turnover, attrition been etc.

Cool. I have a similar comp offer for a remote Se.TPM role (non Amazon) which I am seriously considering.

This is top of the band. You wont get any reasonable hike until you get promoted

The catch is that it’s for Amazon / AWS, whose offer letters should only be used as negotiation leverage for entry TC to another - any other - more employee centric company…… or for wiping your ash with.

    Avoid Amazon.
