Hi What’s the breakup of L6 interviews in percentage terms: 1. Leet 2. System design 3. Amazon LP’s 4. Resume knowledge - tell me about project XYZ on your resume.... Also, for leet, should I expect Mediums or Hards? TIA and wish me luck!
OP, how was the phone screen for L6?
One lc-easy-to-medium question. I took the opportunity to emphasize validation and real world scenarios (e.g. “if I was calling this a bajillion times I would precompute that part”). 5 minutes on “resume knowledge”
Resume knowledge should tie into LPs. If not, don’t put it on your resume.
Too late for that for me :)
It's all LP's from here on. Use this LP cheat sheet I put together. For starter, just translate your daily Linux commands to LPs: - grep: Dive Deep - sudo reboot: Bias for Action - rm /tmp/*: Frugality - git push: Deliver Results If you wanna be more subtle: - Code review comments: Insist on the Highest Standard - Code review 5th revision: Disagree And Commit - Search StackExchange: Learn and be Curious - Write 10K line function: Ownership - Refactor the above-mentioned 10K-line function: Invent and Simplify - Check your metrics: Customer Obsession And so on... To be even more effective, always speak LPs in pairs using one LP to explain the other LP. Like I Dive Deep into the problem because I am Curious and I wanna Learn. I Disagreed but Commit because I was Biased for Action. That'll make sure you cover them all.
Wow. That’s rather an intense change in language. Is that how they really communicate over there??
