SWE IC role. Seattle/remote. Not currently at Amazon; offer is for boomerang.

Amazon L6 (Senior)
TC: 540k first two years, 480k afterwards (not accounting for potential raises or additional RSU. Also not assuming any stock appreciation)

Snap L6 (Staff)
TC: 600k (waiting for breakdown)

Considerations:
Amazon won't budge any further on TC. Snap is obviously much higher in expected TC, but I'm worried about the stability of their stock. Amazon is very cash heavy the first two years and their stock is much safer overall. Snap is a higher level, and there's room to move up in that level's pay band, whereas Amazon offer is already above the pay band so it would only go down I assume. The role itself is much more interesting at Amazon. In either company, I'm not at all worried about pip so no concern there.

Have a handful of other offers but none of them are compelling enough to consider over these two.
