I’ve been working as an SDE at Amazon for a while, just got promo’d to L7 this quarter. To be honest, I feel stagnant technically…all I do is write docs and go to meetings, so I’m looking at potentially trying something different.
I’ve been interviewing over the past couple months and currently have offers at both Google and Meta for L6/E6.
I’m curious if anyone else is in a similar position or have a different perspective at these other companies. What would you do?

Also considering the massive red tape at Google, it's not nearly as fast moving and exciting at Amazon. Obv this assumes you are at a good team at Amazon.
Honestly though if it's not exciting at Amazon anymore, you might as well leave for Google. And then boomerang back after a year. The principal scope at Amazon is really too good to let go.
