Hi folks, I have 3 virtual interviews with Amazon coming up next week. Started practicing leadership principles. Finding it bit difficult because I have limited experience. Do you know some recourses where I can find some example stories for few non standard/general questions? It would be big help. Or if you can volunteer and/or guide me towards it than it would be awesome. Maybe in exchange of coffee (if in Bay Area!). TC : Hourly Intern => living expense
How did you get a leadership position interview with limited leadership experience?
Leadership principles apply to everyone.
Even mopping the floor has leadership implications. You can find examples in anything.
Your recruiter will share those prep docs with you
Don’t try to fake an experience - I did go through and they drill into details till the point either they are convinced (even appreciated a situational behaviour ) or detect its fake
These two articles were really helpful for me (got the offer), read the first one multiple times. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-interview-amazon-leadership-david-anderson https://interviewgenie.com/blog-1/2017/11/28/how-to-answer-amazon-leadership-principle-customer-obsession-interview-questions
