Does anyone have experience working as a software engineer in Amazon's Madrid office (Amazon MAD12, Calle Ramirez de Prado Nº5)? How would you rate the working environment? What benefits do they have? Would you recommend working there as a software engineer?
What benefits do engineers have at that office?
@cidpv someone in another tread mentioned they work longer hours than their Seattle peers, can you confirm that?
@bwMO58 , what was the TC offer?
People work longer hours than US (rarely leave the office before 7 pm), TC is bad (30-40k L4, 60-70k L5), and projects are usually what Seattle teams don’t want to own (KLO, low priority, etc).

God I love Madrid!! I hope I can relocate there soon. Spain is the best country to live much more fun authentic cultural and interesting than USA .
Not sure what happens with the TC for employees that go from USA to Spain, but I received an offer for Spain directly and it's pretty bad TC-wise.
@bwMO58 what's your TC? What level? I also got for L4 in Amazon, Madrid.
