I passed the on-site for both companies for SDE1 and now have to pick a team before I can receive an offer. There are a couple questions I have that I’d really appreciate if anyone has an answer to!
1. Will the offer be the same regardless of the team I pick? Or would audible be lower due to NJ comp compared to NYC?
2. Also does anyone know the current top of the band pay for SDE1 at amazon in NY? Apparently I did well across the board and I have a competing offer (but I prefer amazon/audible) so I’d like to negotiate if possible.
3. Lastly I’d like to know what y’all think is a better name on the resume between the two and is one better than the other for career growth or is there no difference? I know audible generally has better WLB.
