Amazon NYC L5 SDE2
I am about to submit my promo doc for L4 to L5 SDE 2 In NYC. What kind of a pay bump should I expect? Current TC 113k base 27k Sign on bonus 68 Stocks
Just curious, you have to submit your own promotion doc at Amazon?
You write yours and then manager adds the relevant sections, gets feedbacks and completes the doc. Practically though the manager ends up writing everything anyways. Recently the process has changed so from next year the manager will own and write the doc 🙄
I don't know about NYC but the 3 L4 to L5 I promoted over last year each got about 65% bump in their base. Their stocks were way less though. You seem to be on a higher side with 68 RSUs so the bump will be small, but it will be there.

Nope. 65% I remember rubbing my eyes to make sure after the first time I saw the promo tool's comp screen. But then these were almost entry level SDE I with barely 17 months of experience. As I said with 68 RSUs the OP seems a high bar SDE I already with probably in lower compa of SDE II TC band.
Very little increase since stock has gone up. Welcome to frugality
