Hi. Couple of weeks ago I got a message from Amazon recruiter (without any refer and application) regarding the opportunity to join their AWS team in Dublin. After a while they sent me link to online assessment through codility. There were 2 tasks , both pretty much easy. I've finished them with a large margin in time, carefully checked for corner cases and submitted. But after that I've got a message from the recruiters that they're not ready to proceed with my candidacy. I don't think they decided to reject because of CV, because initially the recruiter reached out through linkedin and as I think CV stage was passed. Another possible reason - on codility it has some strange scoring algos, like if I didn't added a lot of custom tests or something the report could be yellow, even if all system test cases were fine. Here I saw a lot of cases when even 50% passed cases were enough for proceeding to next stage. And one more thing is maybe I haven't added enough comments as FAQ document suggested that was sent prior to the OA. Just thought that if this is online system then it should be enough to pass all cases. What could be possible reasons for negative feedback? #amazonaws #amazon #onlineassessment #assessment #interview #feedback
How were the questions?
Was it for the DNS team?
Prepare man u have to pass all the test cases to go to next round
The problem is that recruiter didn't provide any feedback. And 99% I'm sure there were no logical issues in the code that could lead to failed tests. Just the codility platform scored you solution by activity metrics (manual tests added , activity in the online IDE, etc)
Yeah actually they dont provide feedback what was questions u were asked
