Does Amazon hire associate level PMs? Dont see any job posting for that on their website.
They basically don’t exist, with very few exceptions. There are no entry level PM positions straight out of undergrad, again with few exceptions. Usually people will transition from business or analytics roles into a Product Manager role later in the same domain. MBAs are hired directly into Senior Product Manager positions.
No L4 PM positions. Barely L5.
Sr. PM roles are L6 which is equivalent to Google PM. Look for any non Sr. Role and it will be L4 or L5. I have seen plenty L5 roles and some L4 roles. Those are equivalent to APM
What do you mean by associate level? TPM or non-tech PM?
I meant does Amazon hire Associate Product Managers? (which is a level below Product Managers) How do you differentiate between non tech and tech PM at Amazon?
Amazon hires 0 years of PM experience fresh out of MBA as senior product managers
