I had 5 onsite rounds at amazon and I answered all the questions correctly. Still got a reject. I don't know the reason why they rejected me as I felt that I had a great interview.
I was in same boat 🚣♀️.. someone did better I guess
they didn't even give me a feedback...I am not even sure what I did wrong
What role is it ?
You can never truly know how you did. It could be LP, it could be tough competition and it could be just bad luck. No biggie, it’s just a job.I believe Amazon lets you interview with different teams and as long as The HM is okay with it they don’t care about any cool off period.
Correct answers do not equate a guaranteed offer
Interviews are funny, at the end of the day, you are interviewed by several human beings, and you have no idea how receptive they are to your answer, it's not just the answer, also the way you respond, your body language and many other variables that you may not be able to control. Don't look back, just move on!
Also sometimes you get rejected because someone on interview panel thought u were smarter then them, also chances are they rejected because they want their referrals either family or it friend to get the job ..
Don’t worry.. you will get better offer..
LPs don’t necessarily have a correct answer. If you answered coding loop questions correctly, you most certainly set off flags in LP rounds then. You didn’t get beat out by other candidates either. If you’re a fit, they will find a spot for you. There are a ridiculous amount of teams who need SDEs
LP?
I answered all of them in the STAR format
What’s LP?
