Amazon Research scientist ll, is it L5 or L6?
Dear all, Can I kindly ask if Research Scientist II (2) is considered as level of L5 or L6? Thanks

II is 5. III or 'Senior' is 6.

L5. Just accepted an RS offer as L5 in Bay Area. It is very difficult to get hired into L6 Research Scientist is what my friends in Amazon told me. The people he knows who got hired into L6 have 15 years of experience working as scientist in IBM.
