Amazon SDE 1 internal transfer Seattle
hi all, joined as SDE 1 for about 2 months. All the work I do is upgrade dependencies, maintain stuff and got no helps, some new co-workers know nothing about these and exp sde are busy with their work. I work 10hrs/day. Nothing related to coding. This is completely different from what my manager told me before joining (He/she said I will be doing ML and stuff). I am now starting grinding Lc again if transfer is not successful. got onsite with Apple and Google last year but failed. Is it possible to transfer now (preferred Bay area)? I am interested in Prime Video or Alexa skills teams. TC 135k 2YOE #leetcode
You need to negotiate your TC harder. 135 is grad entry level TC. 2yoe should get more.

In same boat. Joined 5 months back and everyone says sde-1s in Amazon do this kinda work. I haven't written a line of code. Stupid manual testing and building some dashboards. Not sure if I should even consider internal transfer 😬
