Amazon SDE 1 max TC
Is there a max TC for SDE1 band at Amazon? Current Offer details base 120k sign on 40k rsu 50 TC ~ 163k location: Seattle New grad masters 1.5 yr exp prior to masters Current TC : 0 Interview went pretty good. Can I negotiaite to a higher TC for around 185k?
You can ask for 120k sign on (split across 2 years) and 120k RSUs.. General rule for amazon.. Base per year ~= total sign-on ~= initial RSUs
Yes there is a max TC for SDE 1 band, the first couple bands after that too under normal circumstances.
What is the per year breakdown? It looks like if your TC is in the 160s you’ll have a massive cliff after year 2???
I think they are saying once the signing bonus runs out you will drop a lot unless the number of RSUs is similar. Amazon expects the stock to increase 15% a year so they build that into the number of shares you get.
I have given the breakdown for first year. Base 120 First year sign on 40k Rsu 5% of 53 stocks
Max for Seattle is 180 I think.
Whats the new max for SDE 2 thoug mh ? I heard they recently increased the base cap ?
Not sure it used to be like 250/260ish I think
