Amazon SDE II at Berlin vs LinkedIn Dublin SWE (Not senior)
YOE: 4 Both are for Machine learning teams. Amazon for Alexa machine translation and LI for Content understand team. Compensation is approximately same. Can you help me decide which one to choose? Total Compensation: 138K USD

The negotiation is still in process, but it is more or less settled. Maybe LI will increase a bit considering the cost of living in Dublin. I am more concerned about the work culture at Amazon, have heard bad things about it in the US based offices.

Can you please share the compensation for both the offers? Amazon ML team in Berlin is very good and they are research heavy as well (publishing good papers). Don’t know much about LinkedIn, Dublin but Dublin is probably more expensive than Berlin.
Sure. TC is 138K USD
My preference will be Amazon Berlin as the ML team is very good in Berlin and Berlin is cheaper than Dublin. But having said that I don’t know much about LinkedIn, Dublin. If one chooses based on TC vs cost of living, Berlin is favorable location.
