I have an onsite coming up for Amazon and people have been stressing on LP questions. Its my first time interviewing with Amazon and the topic of LPs seems very vague. Can people give me some examples of these LP questions? What kind of questions do they ask? Current and or ex amazon employees please help!
Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a genius asshole teammate.
Tell me a time you went over and above to meet the customers needs
This is why there are LPs. Everyone has to think about the customer and their needs. It’s not just a sales thing.
Oh so its more like regular behavioral questions
Yes but instead of just 30 seconds reply, prepare 5 minute description of each leadership principle. And be ready to defend the outcome with numbers.
Questions seem regular, but the way you answer and the details you provide matter a lot. A Lot!
Tell me a time you were frugal.
Tell me a time when you helped a colleague at workplace who was not working on the same project as yours.
Tell me about a time you automated a process to save your team time. (Invent & Simplify)
Download Amazon Leadership Principles course from interviewsteps.com - it’s $40 but worth it!
And what criteria the amazonians use to evaluate? What’s an excellent or good response to these questions? Why do they ask at first place? Is there any objective way to get anything out of these questions, or is it easy to game these?
