Amazon because of banana stand.
Anything is better than Amazon
Why do you say that?
Multiple friends work at amazon and constantly complain about it (but golden handcuffs from an acquisition so they are literally counting down the days until they vest). I’ve read mixed things about Amazon, apparently the team makes a big difference, but every person I’ve actually talked with at Amazon hates it. I also had an extremely unprofessional experience with Amazon recruiters during an onsite so I have a bit of a bias.
Amazon SDMs are well valued in marketplace (see levels.fyi for equivalents) assuming you are a good one and not a crappy one. Nvidia stock is in the toilet and growth prospects are middling with big headwinds. Take the Amazon gig, it is a good time to join with stock price somewhat lower.
Thanks for the comments and assuming, I am a good one :) I am a very principles oriented person and more morally bound, that usually ends up making a good manager. Stock price lower doesnt give me much advantage while negotiating and its not that low anyways.
Amazon
