Can someone explain to me what is considered senior executive at Amazon? To me the term executive implies director and above but all I can find is a senior manager role (presumably L7) that kind of matches the bill? Where would a senior engineering manager in cybersecurity in the bay area land compensation package wise? Never mind a senior exec?
Sr Mgr is L7 and is the first level you have executive recruiters working.
As far as I know L10+ are considered officers of the company. That's really the definition of "senior executive" IMO. L7 and L8 are middle management. I'm not in Bay area so can't comment on comp.
I think the same which is why I am so confused that they used the term unless they are truly looking for a CISO
Maybe senior account executive, which would be an L6 non tech role
