Does Amazon grant you stock at the price when you sign or when you start your first day of work? TC: 120k
Why would they grant you stock the day you sign? It would be senseless
Thats what I was thinking, but an actual Amazon employee says otherwise above...
Oh sorry, i didnt actually mean receive the stock. I meant at what price will they give you a number of shares to vest after 1 year.
From what I have heard its not even sign date, its the offer date. In the offer they mention the number of stocks instead of the amount for some regions.
This is what I was looking for. Thanks!
When you receive your offer, it states how many RSUs you will get over 4 years.
And the cash value is the average price of the previous month - typically rounded to the nearest 100
Why from cruise automation to Amazon? Hwz work at cruise?
Asking for a friend. I would never go from Cruise to Amazon lol
My offer mentioned a dollar amount. The number of RSUs were calculated much later - the value of stock used to calculate RSUs was the 30-day trailing value before my start date. I didn’t know the number RSUs until after I had joined the company. If your offer gives a dollar amount then be rest assured and on your day one in the company the value of RSUs given to you will be very close to that amount in your offer.
Rsus were fixed for me. They dint mention you will this much worth of shares instead it was like we will guve these many numbers of shares.
RSUs are fixed and should be in your offer letter. The price they affix to them is based off of a trailing average leading up to when your offer was generated.
When you sign
