I have a possible opportunity with Amazon for a TPM/Sr. TPM position. Looking for further insight on the role, prepping for interviews and what salary and position I could expect based on my the details below :
YOE - 4yrs Managerial / 7 years project lead / total 12yrs domain experience.
Current : 160k CAD (10-15% annual bonus)
1. What should 6I expect in terms of salary and what should I negotiate for if provided an offer.
2. Average hrs that I should be prepared for as a TPM role? Currently a father of two young kids so this is important. I currently average 15/day where I'm at now.
3. Prepping for interviews. I've read that glass door is a good source, but any other links advise provided would be great. #tech #amazon #tpm #interview #salaries

2. It really depends on the team. But even at Amazon standard 15 hours per day is a stretch it should be definitely less than that.
3. Glassdoor is outdated. Search for TPM in blind and you will find lot of useful information. You can search in YouTube for videos related to Amazon leadership principles.
With your experience you can easily target Sr.TPM which is L6.
DM if you need any specific details.
You should look at it from $ rate per hour, it will be hard to beat 160/15, and with young kids that WLB isn't worth giving up to be a Bezos slave.
