Hey,
So I applied for a position with the Twitch Prime team in November, and got an auto rejection from their ATS. I now have an Amazon employee who wants to give me a referral for that role, but they can't because I already applied. Any of you know what the cooldown period is for automatic rejections like this?
Thx.

My 6 months will be up in a week, so I will try that employee referral at that time and see what happens. I re-tooled my resume to ensure that my qualifications are properly on display, so I'm ready to try again.
I knew I was qualified for the role, I was just not able to get my resume past the ATS to get some visibility. Once I got the employee referral that helped tremendously. Thanks again for the help.
You can not be referred to a role after you applied for a position for 6 months.
Your automatic rejection has nothing to do with the referral and there is no cooldown on applications.
Find more info on cooldowns by searching for - Amazon cool down master.
I went on-site last August for a Solutions Architect role. Was told I was "Amazonian" but was rejected for that role but encouraged to apply to other roles.
I applied for TAM roles and was immediately rejected.
Waited 6 months, applied for the Solutions Architect role again, and was immediately rejected.
In six months I'll try and get an employee referral and see what happens. If i get immeidately rejected again, then I'm done ha
You were recycled/rejected at on-site which has different guidelines.
Your profile has feedback and notes whereas OP's doesnt. You can get the referral but recruiters will review previous interview notes before deciding whether to move forward or not.
