Base is 142ish for new promos in Seattle. Stocks depend on what you currently have vesting, you'll go to lower end of band.
Yeah, lower than new hires. New hires are bar raisers, and so by definition better than 50% L5s at Amazon (and so get paid middle of band). You get promoted when you are just entering the band in terms of skill, so you get paid at bottom of band.
That's what they say anyway. Pay the people more who need 6 months to figure out what they're doing :)
My base changed from 125 to 146, no extra stock

It’s somewhere within the compensation band (it’s range for every job family and level). Bands are also dependent on location. I’m in Bay Area. Where are you, op?
