As topic, I left some time in November, and the Vacation payout was according to my Oct balance without what I earned in November before I left. Sure it might be fractional, but Amazon being such a big company, what kind of practice is this?
Companies make mistakes and if you are that arrogant to not reach out to have them correct there mistake then it's on you and stop complaining about it. I've had this happen before and I have reached out and they have corrected the situation.
I’m not arrogant. I’m just tired. Would I want that vacation payout? Yes. But I’m too tired dealing with Amazon now and just glad that I got out.
While everyone can make mistakes, I’ve always found them to be less genuine when it’s to the advantage of the person or organisation that’s making the mistake. Similar to grocery store where they make you pay full price at the cashier for an item that is clearly on sale. Good on you for reporting it.
I brought it up because I’m guessing others probably have had this mistake happened to them as well. And you would think such big company should insist on highest standard of accuracy.
That's a fair callout but you need to follow up
Were you piped or put to dev list at Amazon?
Frugal. It's their moto.
Lol yea Hopefully not stealing 🤣
You’re insufferable. You know there’s a mistake, and a simple email would resolve but “I’m too tired to deal with amazon”
Your one working day is probably worth $500, if you're reluctant to spend 10 minutes to shoot up an email for that amount, it means you values your free time at 3000$/hr.

What’s that? To be honest, I’m too tired to deal with Amazon anymore.
Then why are you talking about it here ?
