What do they have instead?

^public2 from Facebook? Is that you? 🥺
In Seattle you get 10 vacation days/6 personal days your first year (3 weeks total) , after 1 year it's 15 vacation days/6 personal days (4 weeks), and after 6 years it's 20 vacation days/6 personal days (5 weeks). Personal days are pretty much used the same as vacation days FYI, they just carry over differently to the next year and don't get paid out if you leave. So just make sure you use your personal days every year.
What the heck? You’re a contractor or what? I’m sure they do. I once got an offer with a PTO. What company these days doesn’t offer it? Lol
You accrue it as your tenure increases
Then change your misleading title.
You’re an adult, take the time off when you want. Almost nobody uses all their PTO in a year. Might as well use it before you technically have it if you’re new 🤷♂️
Dude, what? I absolutely use my PTO to the fullest extent.
Good, you should. Not using all your time off seems to be an American thing.
The accrual is a pain, especially if you worked as a contractor for 6 months before getting converted like I did. Although I feel like most big corps in the US structure their PTO this way
Then why my manager calendar keeps showing “Away - PTO”
